Information for volunteers

The first step is to register as a volunteer - you will receive a username and a password to log in.

*** Registering as a volunteer will not obligate you to anything - your information will only be sent to an organization when you apply for a volunteer position.

Once you are registered and logged in, you can...

• Apply for volunteer positions. When you find a volunteer position that interests you, just click on the "apply for this position" button. Your contact information is then sent to the organization stating your interest in that position and the organization should be in touch with you shortly!
• View/edit your volunteer profile. Your volunteer profile contains all the information that you filled out during registration. You can update your profile whenever you want. Under your volunteer profile you can also see all the volunteer positions you have applied for as well as view your "favourites list".
• Receive email notifications of volunteer positions that match your volunteer profile. In your volunteer profile you can check volunteer position types that interest you and then get an email notification of any new positions that match your volunteer interest. You can also turn off this option if you prefer so.
• Add volunteer positions to your "favourites list" and come back later to apply for it. Found a volunteer position that you like but want to think about it some more? You can add the position toy your "favourites list" and come back anytime to apply for it.
